This post should really be put someplace on the main motofans page, but I couldn't find a way to do it, so, for now it's just cool info. for us A1200 buffs.

I'm not sure if this service works outside the US, so take it for what it's worth.

If you don't already know, Google.com offers a free information service by text. All you have to do is type the name of a business you're looking for (has to be spelled properly) with the area code you're currently in, or an area code near you, to 46645, and LITERALLY 3 seconds later, you'll have a text (or two) showing the buisiness, it's address and phone number, and the distance it is from the area code you entered!

If it's a buisiness chain, it will show you the closest location to the area code you entered.

This is a brilliant idea, and EXTREMELY useful! I can't tell you how many times I've been looking for an address to a restaurant or store, based off of a friend's directions, only to get lost, and have the Google service save the day. It seriously rocks!

It seems to work for residential listings as well!

The only charge you'll get is whatever your service provider charges you per text message.
