Help: Receive blank txt message after checking voicemail.

I have tmobile service for my a1200. Any time that I receive voicemail or call my voicemail I receive blank messages on my phone. What is the cause of this? Can anyone tell me how to make this stop? I would like to receive a message telling me that I have voicemail, not a blank one. Any help would be appreciated. Can email me at grant@welltec-us.com

It has information on doing a seem edit and the specific fix you are looking for:

Using CVV144's approach with RadioComm v10.3.1, change the current value from 89 to 8B. I confirmed that this fixes the VM text message problem in 53p China Mobile version.

I changed hex script from 89 to 8B using radiocomm gsm2. IS there anything else I need to do?

i fixed mine.. anyone having this issue see threads mods&hacks for a much quicker fix to the problem..worked great!!
