help on complete synchronizing!!

Need help on synchronzing outlook....data doesn't transfer complete to ming a1200...any tips please??

Could you be a bit more clear about what it going on? Considering what I've read here regarding MPT connection issues I don't know how much can be done, but it would help to know exactly what is happening.

That's the official MPT support forums post on trouble with synchronizing contacts between Outlook and the A1200 where it will not do a complete synchronization. Seems that the developer is aware of the problem but 'unable to recreate' it.

Honestly, my gut tells me it is some sort of connection issue on the MPT side. For example, I can not transfer any multimedia files larger than a few megs. Every time I try transferring a 10-12 MB MP4 file, or a batch transfer to the phone, MPT always says 'connection lost'. The connection doesn't seem lost on the GUI, but the transfer dies. Probably just immature support functionality for the A1200....

I have been having a similar problem with MPT and syncing with outlook. sometimes when syncing contacts or calendar, the syncing doesn't complete. I have found that it usually happens when I have added new events what have a lot of notes or formatted notes (same for contacts). If I clean up the notes though outlook (shorten, get rid of formatting or tables, etc) the phone syncs perfectly.

It's not really the A1200 that's the phone. It's MPT. To date, I still can't successfully synch it with my A1200. The biggest issue to date has been that it can't seem to reliably connect to my Outlook calendar and tasks, though it sees my contacts just fine. When it can see them, it doesn't always seem to synch all the entries. The MPT software is frankly just too dang buggy.

its funny, I have tried alot of firmware and have never had a problem at all. What version of outlook are you using? Do you have any 3rd party connectors installed for outlook?
