Just got my a1200 all set up, internet, mms, sms. Just need to iron out a couple issues such as phantom txt msg after check vm and message alert timeout needs to be more than 1 beep.Also would like spkr to work with flip closed while in a call. New to this so how do I fix my current issues and what programs do I need to download inorder to get into the loop. I am good with computers however I know nothing about customizing phones. Do these programs and updates provide more functionality and fixes for the issues I have stated above. If someone could help I will make sure to donate something.

Welcome to the board. ALL the issues you're asking about are all over the board. I suggest reading the stickies located on the top of the page, it will answer a lot of your questions.

Just a few answers to help you along:

VM - You can do a seem edit or upgrade for 46p firmware to get rid of it.
Speaker while flip is closed - were working on it

Seem edits you'll be able to do through Radiocom and for flashing your phone to different firmware, you'll need RSDLite.
