i'm glad there is some potential interest in this, i'm working on it now...Originally Posted by xball
there is a lot of testing that needs to be done to get bluez, proper networking, and some kind of ezx interface (native to the a1200) working, and i don't have an a1200 yet, but when i do this should be possible w/in a week or two (unless someone else gets to it first,)
It is a good news

good to see you back anyways![]()
i've actually been a bit embarrassed by my absense, my employer has had me looking into similar development options with Win mobile phones and i've had'nt had any time for months to spend on the good-ole boy that started it all for me (the e680).Originally Posted by pnail
as part of my agreement with my manager, i'd continue porting work i've done on the e680 to the .net compact framework if they got me an a1200; and here we are...
i've been intending on updating the bluezx app for months, but before i do i'd like to try to see if we can't get it running on both devices.
hmm.. getting paid for working on e680/A1200? you lucky dude!!
ok.. getting back to topic.. I guess bluezx just requires lil packaging - so that its useful for non-developers too. not sure how many are actually using it currently... maybe you should run a poll to find that out
with the bluezx and modified mack scripts, I for one use it often. Gmail/yahoo /bbc and even my stock exchange have wap sites which works like a breeze on A780![]()
to all the devs out there! Thanks for your talent and work! keep the apps coming!
