i get the same thing, the h2 firmware doesnt do this though, maybe they can find a seem edit for it.
Every time I make an outgoing call on my a1200, a message box pops up that says "call control is allowed". The call goes through, and it's nothing but a bit of a nuisance. I was just wondering what this means and if it's possible to get rid of the little pop up. My carrier is Rogers Wireless and this happened with my old china mobile firmware as well as after I flashed with 46p. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe it's a network feature as I can see that you are both on Rogers.
Sam could be right. I'm on Fido in Vancouver, BC and don't have this "feature". Running 53P.Originally Posted by samkatta
Fido is actually part of rogers now, however I think i have heard a number of people say that they dont have this problem on fido regardless of firmware, so if it is a network feature its unique to the rogers orginal towers.

Hrm...i'm also running rogers, and only on SOME calls does the stupid "call control is allowed" message pops up. I've been looking high and low...but still nothing...
I also see that message, on cellcom in israel.
its a network message. For instance, the msg i get is 'Conditional forwarding active'
basically a service feature must be active on ur voice calls
I had the same problem. I since flashed to .08 and the problem went away
