Go to you applications menu, then click "setup" there is an option for USB mode there, click it and change it.
My phone is set to USB Mass Storage, and periodically, I think after the phone has been connected to my PC via USB, many functions including setup, email, browsing are inacessable. When I try to use these function, I get the "Application is disabled in USB Mass Storage mode" message. I can get rid of this inacessablity by turning the phone off and back on? Is there any other way to remedy this without turning the phone off?

Sorry, I must have been unclear. When I try to go to setup, I get the "Application is disabled in USB Mass Storage mode" message.
unplug it from the usb cable. as long as the phone is is usb mass storage mode these functions (setup, access to the mmc, etc) are disabled.Originally Posted by mlefebvre
if you connect to the phone's memory via a samba mount this will not be an issue and you will still have access to the "blocked" functions; plus i think you will have access to more of the phone's memory than via usb mass storage (i say "i think" cause i don't have an a1200 yet).
What is a samba mount?
Oops, sorry looks like I was further unclear. Here is what happens:
USB is set to Mass Storage mode.
I plug the phone into my PC to recharge it.
Sometimes, but not always, after I unplug my phone from the USB cable to my PC, and try to access setup, email, browsing, they are inacessable.

I am trying to see if there is there any other way to remedy this without turning the phone off.
Thanks for your help.
