Need mms setting for Fido (Canada)

Anyone know the mms settings for Fido (Canada)?

These settings are what I use, everything else is blank or unchecked.

Profile Name: Fido MMS
APN: mms.fido.ca
Username: fido
Password: fido
Timeout: 15 minutes
Primary Gateway IP: 205.151.11.13
Port: 8080
Baud Rate: Auto
Line type: Modem
Timeout: off

Hi KillerBee, I don't have any specific tips. Just make sure you have it set as your default profile for MMS and ensure that MMS is enabled on your acount(mine wasn't). I got the settings from this post at Howard Forums if its any help to you. Good luck.

I've followed the post exactly what it said, and set "FidoMMS" as my default profile, but it still doesn't work. Moreover, the wap connection wasn't working either.

Is there anyone can help? Please and thanks.

Setup-->Data Network-->New

Profile name: FidoWAP

GPRS setting:
APN: wap.fido.ca
Username: fido
Password: fido
Timeout: 15 minutes
Primary Gateway IP: 205.151.11.11
Port 8080
Secondary Gateway IP: (blank)
Port: (blank)
DNS Server: (unchecked)
CSD Setting:
Dial in number: (blank)
Query at logon: (unchecked)
Username: (blank)
Password: (blank)
Baud Rate: Auto
Line type: Modem
Timeout: Off
DNS server: (unchecked)

Then press Save.

To get MMS working (what I haven't included are the blanks and all boxes should be unchecked unless specified)

Setup-->Data Network

Profile Name: Fido MMS
APN: mms.fido.ca
Username: fido
Password: fido
Timeout: 15 minutes
Primary Gateway IP: 205.151.11.13
Port: 8080
Baud Rate: Auto
Line type: Modem
Timeout: off
Then click SAVE.

THEN

Messages-->Service Setup-->Multimedia Message

Default profile: FidoMMS
(all other settings are to your preference)

Tap the box beside Default Profile and ensure that FidoMMS is the default profile.

Settings for MMS profile goes

Profile name: FidoMMS
MMSC: http://mms.fido.ca
Max Sending Size: (your preference)
Network Profile: Fido MMS

Hi all,

I forget to mention the following information that maybe critical for troubleshoot. My phone's firmware is 48P.

And I do have a question on password setting in profile creating. The post suggested the password was "fido". It was 4 alphabets, but it looked as if it were 8 alphabets after you saved it. Is it normal?

It's me again. The settng from the post is right. it works only if you enabled GPRS from the status bar.
