Are the calls being directed right to voicemail? If so it may be because you have the name display feature of call display enabled on your Rogers account. The a1200 doesn't seem to be compatible with name display.
Hi Everyone, I'm new to this forum and also Motorola phones.
I recently purchased the Motorola A1200 phone. I'm with Rogers so I put my sim card in the Motorola, yet I can't receive calls. I can do everything but receive calls. I'm able to make calls, receive and SEND text messages but can't receive calls. The weird part is, is that I can receive a call from one person I know. When this person calls me, my phone rings and works, yet when anyone else calls, nothing happens.
I went through all the settings and setup and can't figure it out. If anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Goodfella

When someone tries to call, it rings the appropriate amount of times (4-5) then goes my voicemail. (But nothing rings on my A1200)
I think I do have the name display feature of call display enabled. Should I cancel just that? Or both the name display and call display?
Thanks for helping me out.
Name display feature needs to be cancelled. Call Rogers and disable that feature.
Thanks a lot.. appreciate the help.
I'm on Fido and I'm also having a missed call problem
Name display, is that like Caller ID ?
