Auto Time Update on A1200

Hello,

Have had my A1200 for a few months now, awesome phone. I usually don't mind the fact that I have to set the time everytime im in a different zone but the clock on my a1200 has been off by about 5-10 minutes the last few weeks. Is there anyway to get the a1200 to just use the time from the network it is on like most Cingular phones? Thanks!

hey,
The thing is most unlock phones are made for a specific market.. For example the A1200 is an asian market phone... It was not meant to come out here in the usa. So motorola based it for the market.. Phones that cingular offers are meant for the usa and ect. So because of that they can add features such as auto time updates and over-the air updates ect.. It a bit of a bummer but hey we cant have everything.. But you should just try to set the clock again to the right time... i dont see why it would slow down...
