Anyone able to help? Thanks.
Hopefully this is not a repeat question...sorry in advance if it is.
I just purchased an A1200 and while the phone is by far one of the greatest gadgets I have ever purchased, I am having some difficulty with using the touch screen features. The bottom left area of the screen does not accept stylus or finger based inputs at the right locations. I have to click below the actual option I want to choose, which can be frustrating especially when using the keyboard. I have repeatedly set up the screen calibration through setup but even the calibration test will not let me complete it unless my final click is almost half an inch below the crosshairs (hopefully that makes sense). Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Anyone able to help? Thanks.
Are you using any kind of magnet near the phone? or do you carry the phone in a case with magnet as its closure mechanism? as magnet is reported to cause mis calibration of the screen.
If you have any screen protectors on I would try it without them. If not try a master reset and see if that works.
Thanks for the responses...
Unfortunately the mystery continues, because no magnets around and no case with a magnet.
Also the miscalibration occurs without the screen protectors and I can't do the master reset because it asks me for a 6 digit code to proceed![]()
your 6 digit code might be "000000" try that
Now using: Motorola A1200
Was using: Motorola V3i
Back up phone: Motorola V70 & V60
Well i feel stupid...000000 did work...
However, the calibration issue remains...
I do appreciate the information...Thanks.
