A1200 microSD problem

Hi all,

I received my a1200 today with a 512mb microSD card, but for some reason my phone doesn’t recognise there is a microSD card inserted into the phone (Memory card not available and no microSD showing on the status bar). I have tested the memory card on a Motorola V3x and it works fine. Is there a problem with my phone or do I need to activate something on the phone itself?

I repaired my phone from Hong Kong Service Centre, everything work great but face the same situation as you. One advice: turn the phone off, take the back cover and battery out, remove the MicroSD and put it inside the phone properly again, you need to lock the External Memory Slot, battery, backcover and open the phone again.

I guess the MicroSD slot is not perfect. Try to put the MicroSD properly and I guess you can start to rock!!
