Locking Phone to Cingular

Is there a way to lock my A1200 to only the Cingular network? I am always in the T-Mobile or West Central network. I know cingular is availale in my area, that's who I got my service with. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have not tried this so I cant say it will work, but it could be worth a try. Click on the phone, click the menu and choose setup. Click Network Setup, and click Preffered Networks. There is an option to delete entries from that list. If you can up the network you want to #1 and leave the rest that might be the best option.

Again, I havnt tried this so do it at your own risk.

Ok, i'm running 48p now. I didnt think this had changed... but at least I found something different with the new firmware

step 1: open your a1200 and click dial button (right top corner) the one you use to dial number.

step 2: you will see 1234567890.... and click left bottom corner, menu button and you can see setup

step 3: after you click setup, you can find "network setup" or something similar. you can set the network there
