    Default Video recording quality

Probably everyone is very disappointing about Ming's video recording quality. Anyone can suggest/advise how to improve it besides waiting for new firmware or buying another phone?

i found a little trick that i use.. for one if im recording something close i use macro mode.. it actually makes it a little better. Also make sure you are holding the phone steady. I believe it has an effective range for video recording but not sure how much.. the reason why i say this is because i have tooken video of closer objects and it was alot clearer. but when its a far object then its very blurry. Hope this helps

Thanks for the tips, Alpha. The quality seems a bit better with macro mode but not much. My friend has a Nokia 6280 and it's video quality is so great that I thought the video taken was from a video camera. When I compare the spec., both Ming and Nokia 6280 have 2MP camera. Will that be a both firmware and software issue? Anyone know? Or there are too many things that will contribute to have a good video quality camera phone? If not totally rely on hardware, hopefully that problem can be fixed on the next firmware update. Thanks.

I believe a firmware might improve some features. It was already discussed that pictures are taken better with generic firmware vs. china mobile. So if thats the case then a simple firmware might do the trick. only time will tell!

I was able to get generic 44p back, motorola installed it for me. So once i receive my phone i will update to see if there is a difference in generic and china mobile video quality.
