A1200 charging issues

Hi All,

I tried to search the forum but coudlnt find this specific problem,

I got a new a1200 phone, It was all ok until i played with some settings

now i cannot charge the phone both with charger and from computer

whenever i connect the charger or USB cable the phone says "switching to USB mode" and hence not charged.

I tried to set my USB to modem as well as Mass storage but neither helped , now the phone is not charging even with adapter it switches to USB mass storage mode,

I dont have any clues what i have changed, could someone let me know
how can i get rid of this issue??

I dont know how to fix the problem, but you can probably charge it by turning it off first, when you plug in the charger it turns on to charge but not into a full 'On' state so it should work.

Have you tried the standard things like turning it off, pulling the battery for a minute, turning it back on then charging it?

If no one has a solution and it comes down to it, remember to do a master reset before any flashing. You dont want to loose your generic firmware if you dont have to.

its not the phone its probably the drivers on your computer. Try to plug it in another usb port. And install the drivers again. i believe the driver you need is the modem one. Hope this helps.
