    Default Block incoming numbers

I want to block specific incoming calls, not block ALL incoming calls.

Is this what Call Barring is for ? It looks like it only let's you block ALL calls.

Can I block individual phone numbers from calling me ? If so, where ?

Also, what the heck is the Call Barring Password ?

I changed my Security Code and Unlock Codes with 000000 and 1234 as the defaults ... but I tried 1234 and the last 4 digits of my phone sim card number as suggested in the manual, but they are not correct to access call barring or change the call barring password ....

    Suggestions ?

Nope, I've tried them both, no go ...

In can't imagine that the code was changed before I got it ..... and I bought it new ... oh well ..... is this the only way to block specific incoming numbers ?

So NOBODY can comment on this issue eh ? Nobody else wants to block just single numbers ? Far as I can tell, the option doesn't exist on this phone which I consider to be a MAJOR problem with it.

Call barring ... well my understanding is that you can only stop ALL calls or ALL CALLS WHEN ROAMING - in and out ...... but not block individual numbers

But since I can't find any working password to enable call barring on my retail phone it serves little purpose anyway

You can block MMS, it's built in to stop those, but yet you can't stop a single telephone number from CALLS or from SMS ...... MAJOR FLAW

Can anyone comment or give insight or other options for this ?

Call Barring is a network feature and it's deigned to block calls in certain situations , for example, incoming calls while roaming or incoming and outgoing calls. This network feature requires a security code which is PUK2 which you recieve from your provider after subscribing to that feature.
It has nothing to do with your phone at all.

There is a firewall app on the Chinese forum club.ccmove.com that is supposed to be able to block calls similar to the firewall app for the 680i. I dont read Chinese so I cant tell you if or how it works. I dont have a need to block numbers so I havent investigated it myself.

Thanks, I found it, but it's one of those pkg files and I've never altered my phone yet in any way and haven't used the mpkg/pkg things yet ... so I'll not try this app ..... thanks though

I find it funny though that this phone doesn't have the ability to block numbers
