yeah~ same experience.
I will receive my new outbox stuff from gmail everytime I receive mails from gmail by A1200.
Hello,
Is anyone using there A1200 with Googles Gmail? I have it setup to use with the A1200's email client. It works great (im on Cingular). Its weird though, when I send an email from Gmail (using my computer) I receive the message when I sync with my cellphone in the Inbox, not the sent items folder. Anybody else experience this?

Ok, just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one. hahaha. Are you using the A1200s mail client? I like it's mail client a lot, you don't have to go to the web which is a plus and it seems pretty solid.
What are you guys putting the settings as in the a1200's e-mail client?
Also, do you have to have your mobile internet enabled?
Im still having problems with this.
I says its connected to the server, then it just hangs and nothing happens.'
What did you guys do to make it work?
Anyone??

Here's the link to Gmail Settings tha you can use for setting up mail on the phone. Then go to Settings on your Gmail account (upper right-hand side of window) and then select "forwarding and POP." Then turn on POP support. Once that's done you should be able to pull your mail down to the phone. Also, on your phone you can select the connection setting that you use for browsing. Hope this helps!

I got all those settings already, still wont work.
I appreciate your feedback though!
I had the same issues ...
I am American but live in China and use China Mobile. The phone has 3 different connection settings in the setup for data network setup, I had to choose the proper one ... the third one, utilizing CMNET. In your email profile setup, choose the proper connection type, I just tried all three and then finall it worked fine .... no trouble now
The 3 are
cmwap
cmwap (using java)
cmnet
I had a problem when following gmail's setting to use the hight port for the outgoing mail.
Since some email providers are using non standard ports to try and prevent spam this makes a problem sometimes with the ISP you might be useing. So on a chance I set my outgoing (send) profile to the standard port 25 and it worked.
