Is there a generic 44p firmware?

I've tried looking everywhere on this forum and on hofo but I can't seem to find a generic version of the 44p. I dowloaded a version of the 44p and it turned out to be the china mobile version, i really need the generic one back!

I hear ya, I have looked everywhere my self. I think we will have to wait for an update or see if the tool they used for the e680 can work to get the generic one off a phone.

Yeah I tried using the moto automatic updater but it's pretty useless. I even downgraded my phone to 43p to see if it would update my phone to 44p, but the program still said I had the most up to date software.

How did some people get the 46p upgrade? Was it through a dealer or did they know someone from motorola?
