You're probably getting a Memory Full message because the phone cannot download to the memory card directly ... it probably has to buffer the file into internal memory before storing it to the memory card ...
I have this problem. When I try to receive a full song from another phone it always says "Memory FUll", when I have all this room in my Memory Card, and also No files at all in my File Manager.
Does any one know why it does that?

Yeah! I asked the tech support of Motorola and they said they can do nothing it. That means you cannot receive file from Bluetooth which file size is larger than the available internal memory.Originally Posted by Mindu00
When you guys install the .system for linloader, it should come with one program named Memext. Actually, I guess this program can solve the problem but it can't.
The use of Memext can provide more memory of application program. I can open about 10 programs in the same moment.
It's so funny that when you download file from the internet, you can choose to save into the memory card of A1200.
Motorola is totally different from SonyEricsson.
I too had the same problem, even with a 1G card, I would try to transfer songs and wouldn't work, but I would go back erase all my inbox messages, actually all my messages and any thing else I did not need, and the next time I tried, it worked, just free up as much space as possable, now I have 150 songs on the phone, but I got that message at least 10 times while tiying to do it
Yeah, it totally sucks how you can't send files bigger than the internal memory of the A1200 phone to phone. However, I've tried my USB bluetooth from PC to Phone and it works perfectly!
Any one can help me? I´ve tried to transfer files from my PC to a1200, but unsucessfuly. How can I do it? I´ve tried to do it via usb and bluetooth.
In setup Click USB mode and make sure its on Mass storage so it comes up as a drive in windows when you plug it in with USB. If it still doesnt show up make sure you have it installed. (does Motorola phone tools work for you)
For bluetooth the file your sending has to be smaller than your available space on the Phone (even if your going to put it on the TFcard). You can check the amount of space by clicking the menu button and choosing More > Properties while your looking at the phone contents in File Manager.
