Usually most prefer the "unbranded" version. If you DO want the China version, on the back f the phone, it should say "China Mobile".
I am planing to buy the Motorola A1200, but how do I know that I will get the Asia Version? I read that this version is the best. Any idea?
Thank you.

Yeah it says China Mobile on the back and usually the default language is in Chinese, so are the ringtones (the lettering not the tones themselves...) and other small details.
However I must say that so far I have had no problems with my phone, that was not caused by my own stupidity that is.
But if youre asking if there is a way to find out if you are going to buy a china mobile version or an unbranded... no idea.
As far as I can find the only available version of the 44p firmware is the china mobile version, so if you want its easy enough to switch the firmware.
Thank you all for the replies. They help to sort my idea about this phone. I am thinking to order it from simomcells.com, it seems to me that they have NO the Chinese version.
