Default Intrested in buying the Motorola Ming, got a few Qs

I searched through all the posts to see if I could answer my questions, but I haven't found the answer to some of these...

    1) Does the camera have some sort of LED assist light? (GSM arena states there is a flash)
    2) On the default screen (I would assume like the WM today's screen, what does it list? Does it list appointments and times for the day?
    3) How is the organizer software?
    4) How is realplayer?
    5) Any other better musicplayer/video player you can download for it so far?
    6) How is the battery life? Are there any larger capacity batterys that could be used in the ming?
    7) I read somewhere moto hasn't released the source code for the SDK (software development kit) for the ming, hindering basically any programs to be developed properly for the ming (java apps don't count)
If you get a busy signal does it have an autoredail that notifies you when you get connected? (my SE T637 has this, and I find it VERY useful)
    9) Updating firmware how much of a problem will it be in the future if newer firmware comes out?
    10) are you able to use it in landscape view?

Those are it for now, I'm sure I'll have more later, thanks

    Some answers:

    1) No Flash
    2) It lists upcoming Calendar events and shortcuts... keep in mind that once we can properly edit this phone all of this should be configurable.
3)It's fairly standard, not unlike WM - I sync all schedules, contacts and tasks with Outlook and it is perfect.
4-5)Realplayer sucks for PC but works fine on A1200. Again, you can also install JAVA applets on this phone so you can replace the player i believe.
6)My battery has been excellent and I spent a decent amount of time surfing the web and checking emails. Also, the phone (premium pack) comes with an extra battery and charger just incase.
7)Moto HAS released the code for the unit (https://opensource.motorola.com/sf/f...ects.a1200/frs)
It's in the settings I believe
9)No problem. same as updating on past models
    10) Landscape view.. no. It would be fairly awkward since it is a clamshell design to use it in landscape.

Okay, looking on ebay and other stores (it's quite a good priced phone, I was gonna wait for the K790, but that thing will be soooo expensive when it comes out) What stores for sure sell the prem pack?

As well is there a 'flight' mode that turns off the GSM antenna so you can listen to music/watch movies on a plane?

Is there an equalizer on the media player?

Alright ONE last thing that I thought of.

Does the camera make a sound when taking pictures?

And the media player does have an equalizer?

no on the eq and to get a no sound you have to record a blank sound then use that for the shutter sound...

So you are able to change the sound of the camera?

bummer on the equalizer =/ That could be ONE thing that might stop me from purchasing this phone. Lots of intresting phones comming out now though...but PDA/touchscreen functionality, there isn't really anything in the same price range that's as good as the ming >_<

to be honest the sound is already good to begin with.. just make sure the bit rate is good, i usually use either, 160 or 192.. sounds great on the headphones. sound wise you wont be dissappointed. the only thing it lacks is bass.. but then again phones dont come with a subwoofer! maybe in a couple of years!

How? Ive recored a blank sound... but I have not found out where to make that sound the shutter sound. I know where I can change the shutter sound to, stop, record, sound 1,2,3,4, and click. But not where I can put a self-recoreded sound as the shutter sound.
