    Default T-mobile GPRS/SMS/MMS Settings for your A1200

I'm trying to connect to the Internet using T-Mobile but I don't know how to set it up. I will appreciate the help I'm sure you guys have had this ? a million times. I tried looking in the forum but either no T-Mobile subjects or they where not detailed enough I'm still trying to figure out the phone.

go to the howard forums web site and enter the tmobile carrier dicussion area and the top sticky is tmobile settings configure that will take you to the tmobile site... once there select the V3 and it will work....Brian

Here use this. Sending the V3 setting, then you'll have to moddify some more things.

What are you not able to do? Send SMS/MMS? Or get on the web?

    1) Make sure you have T-Mobile Total Internet in your plan (c.$30/month) which is unlimited GPRS & T-Mobile Hotspots unlimited (the unlimited + Hotspots is what sold me on it!) If not it will take less than an hour to get it turned on.

[I was told that this is a plan FEATURE and would not constitute a Plan Change... meaning, it will not renew your contractual obligation of 1~2years]

    2) Open the Setup App. Scroll down to Data Network. Select Menu -> New to Create a profile.

[Menu button is in the lower left corner... the three bars... long on top with two shorter bars underneath. That Icon represents a pull down menu.]

Profile name: ??? (i called mine 'T-Mobile GPRS')

    APN: wap.voicestream.com

    Primary gateway IP: 216.155.165.50
    Port: 9201

[if its not listed above... don't set it]

    3) Open your Browser App -> Menu -> Setup -> Profiles -> Menu -> New

    Profile name: ??? [i REnamed mine 'T-Mobile']
    Homepage: wap.voicestream.com
Network link: [here is where you choose the Data Profile created in step 1]
    **** ENJOY ****
