Maybe these will be fixes in 46P or perhaps 47P!!!
annoyance 44p: email application username field not long enough (i need to enter full email address as username because of virtual mailbox)
annoyance 44p: handwriting input system does not lend well to one finger thumb writing input (getting better at it....)
annoyance 44p: battery runs out quite fast if you do something other than leaving it on standby
annoyance 44p: voice recognition is crap (perhaps it's more designed for chinese speech)
annoyance 44p: no way to reassign button functions (since noone actually uses the VR button)
Maybe these will be fixes in 46P or perhaps 47P!!!
bug 44p: since a week or so when i am called and i flip open the phone to answer the call, the phone freaks. it kind of answers, calling time stays at 00:00, i can't hear the other side, the other side can't hear me and i can't hang up the phone, i have to wait for the other side to hang up. used to be happen once in a while, but now it's happening more often, about 1 out of 3 calls.
update: did a reboot and the problem seems to be gone (for now)
hmm... If in contacts, I get a magnifier which brings up search, very easy IMHO.Originally Posted by noromamai

annoyance 44p: you need to goto the task manager to close some programs when you're multi tasking or else it uses to much CPU memory and starts giving and error or acts slow and funny
You don't?? I can. 8OOriginally Posted by A1200Block

I get a pop up screen with a smaller version of the pic and the option to share, save, or delete after every picture. Although the share option is greyed out.
An annoyance I have is there is no option when viewing pictures in the file browser to asign that piture to a contact list. Its a bit of a pain to edit each contact and search for the picture.
And its a bit daunting to learn at least the fundamentals of Linux to be able to mod anything of significance in the phone. But I'll be the better for it in the end i guess![]()
annoyance - you take someone's snapshot for their contact picture, it elongates that picture vertically when pasting onto the contact and when receiving a call from that contact...picture looks fine in album...also, the screen is nice and big, why is the picture so SMALL?
annoyance - pressing the call button doesn't take you straight to a recent calls list but instead takes you to a 3 menu dialed, missed, and answered call list...one extra step to take
annoyance - no letter tabs in address book
annoyance - you should be able to handwrite full words instead of letter by letter
annoyance - can't do anything when the phone is on mass storage mode and plugged in...no way to even take it out of mass storage mode unless you unplug it
annoyance - when handwriting or typing using keyboard, first letter of first word should automatically be capitalized
annoyance - the T9 or variation of it doesn't work too well and sometimes just gets in the way of what you're typing/writing...also, when typing and using the super tiny keyboard, you should be given the option of a horizontal view enlarging the keyboard significantly
annoyance - should be able to use speakerphone and dial out when flip is closed and without bluetooth
great phone, hopefully some of these things get covered in the next firmware
annoyance 44p: you can only have one java app running.
as for not being able to do anything during massstorage status, i might have a partial solution.
in the SysRegistry file in the .system folder of your microSD card there is a massstorage variable for each app, which has a value of 1 or 0. this probably means whether to allow you to run the program or not during mass storage mode. so just change it and the apps installed on your uSD card might become available during mass storage mode. just a theory, haven't actually tried it yet.
