seems like off-topic but is there any map programs for North America (especially Canada)?
Connecting to google maps costs $$..
I don't really need GPS but I think having a map programs on the phone will help alot.

GoogleMaps should work but it doesnt have GPS support yet (http://www.google.com/gmm)

mgmaps has bluetooth support for GPS (http://www.mgmaps.com/)

and there is also j2memaps (http://j2memap.landspurg.net/) which uses bluetooth and can use your own maps... dont know how that works though.

I havnt installed any of these as my phone hasnt shown up just yet, however they work fine on most any other cell phone with midp2.0 and even on a pocket pc with java so the ming should be able to run them ok.

mgmaps works with my Globalsat bluethooth GPS receiver and 'Where am I' feature works well. But mgmap doesn't have direction feature and this makes it useless (to me at least).
