bluetooth file transfer

A1200 black. Love this phone but...

I cannot seem to get bluetooth file transfer to work. I have obex object transfer service but I cannot do bluetooth file transfer to either my PC or Mac. PC says ming does not support this service.

Am I missing something?

i'm using it with no problems. i just have to send to my computer, don't even have to enter password to connect anymore. autoaccept

my phone bluetooth firmware is bcm2045B1_002.001.0013.0181.

I use a Belkin compact flash bluetooth card on my computer running XP Pro sp2.

I can pair the phone with the computer but when I try to set up services, the only ones I can choose are

1. bluetooth serial port
2. dialup networking gateway
3. OBEX object push
4. headset voice gateway

On my other phones (SE z520i) there is an additional service called OBEX file transfer. I think that is what I need.

OBEX push is what should enable it to send files.

OBEX PUSH only lets me transfer contacts from outlook.

Am I missing something?

me too got same problem I can transfer from my PC to phone, but CANNOT transfer from phone to PC via Bluetooth!

Are you using XP service pack 2? I've also been trying to solve this problem and wondered if it was an operating system issue. Also, what firmware are you using? I have .053p

I have the same problem, but using BlueSoleil.

I use BlueSoleil too and I can sent file from phone to Pc but i can't sent file from PC to Phone . Anybody can help me ?
