What can u customize on this phone? Themes, Wallpapers? Pictures? Can u change any of the background pics to ur own?

I made a 240 by 320 pixel solid white GIF image to use as wallpaper. Now, when I need a flashlight (torch), I tap the main screen to get solid wallpaper, and hold the "send" key down until full background brightness is triggered.

This is handy in China, as stairways are often poorly lit.

When we find out how to install mpkg on a1200, you can use Blackhawk's eTorch ... it's the same as Symbian's Torch ...

Anyone know where and how we can get more wallpapers, screensavers, and ringtones from? The ones on the official website seems to asian based and cant work for US numbers. Any ideas? Do we just go to our carrier's website as our only option?

Maybe US phone companies have figured a way to encourage you to buy
ringtones and wallpaper, etc. Maybe not. Anyway here in China, I had no
problem using my own picture as wallpaper - phone software reformats
it for phone or downloading my own mp3 as ringtone. Unless these
feature have been diabled I would use them instead of buying stuff.

The phone tools CD seems to provide some functions that do this so you can pretty much do it yourself.
