Mine was working but it stop working since last week. My pop3 server is pop3hot.com
I just picked up my Ming in the DutyFree coming back from Bangkok and i love it.
However could someone please tell me how to set up my Email so that it checks (uses) my Hotmail account? I cannot figure out the settings. Gmail would be a plus too! I have a Cingular account. I have tried such things as "server:smtp.hotmail.com" under "Send Setup" to no avail...
Hmmm i wonder if i could get it to check my school account too....

I was on here looking for help with this!
Does anyone get their MSN or Hotmail with the a1200? I navigated thru MediaNet with Cingular to the "Mail & Messages" section, then after I plug in my Passport user ID and password, it gives me an error! My husband did the same thing this morning with his AOL account and had no problem!
Then wneh I try to go through MSN.com, it says I gotta have the right Java server....?
Can anyone help with this please??
My solution: Install Opera Mini for the A1200
DOWNLOAD OPERA MINI A1200
I installed it and I have no problems anymore.
Cheers.
so I just use this Opera Mini for my browser, instead of the regular browser in the phone? (the icon with a globe in the main menu)
HI...just wondering if you got Hotmail to work once you installed Opera Mini...
I also have Cingular and navigated thru Media Net to the Mail and Messages section and gives me an error message when I try to sign in. Let me know...thanks!

You only need the jar file since its the program, alot of times though a jad might have special information for installing the jar file, like setting permissions for network access and so on. ie, a jad file can specify that the program has the permissions to connect so you dont have to click yes each time it runs and wants to connect. I am not sure if opera one includes that though.
