I as well have not had success connecting to MSN....something about valid passport.....go figure...will try to figure it out....I'm thinking we somehow need to sing in to passport first....which might mean....trying through our browser and singning in to hotmail.com or webmessenger....will try and advise...Originally Posted by scotty1024

My passport works just fine as my MSN Messenger account everywhere except the Ming...
I have the same problem with the build-in MSN client, but work with other msn client software (eMSN). I think it is a bug.
I tried the new MSN client Moto has posted on their China members site and it wouldn't let me login either.
Perhaps the Ming's MSN clients depend upon a Chinese proxy server??? I can't believe Moto would be so incompetent to release two totally different MSN clients and have both of them be completely non-functional.
I'll be in China the end of this week, I'll give it a whirl when I get there.
I'm using eMSN from this place and it does work for me

I've removed the build in MSN cause it's not free...
How did you remove the built in MSN?
Yeah I would also like to know how you removed the Built In MSN Messenger? I am using UltraIM Pro V1.1 that I bought from www.mobisophy.com It works great and I had no problem using it thru GPRS.Originally Posted by Danver
