There is a 1913 English dictionary on the Sourceforge site that might work for you.
I need a dictionary on my A1200.
I hoped that Longman can do Engl-Engl but it doesn't.. :P
It would be super if it can also do Korean-Engl and Engl-Korean, but if there is any Engl-Engl dictionaries please let me know.
Thanks and hope someone can hack this phone soon!
one more thing..
I'm looking for a "bejeweled" game in english.
The ones on this site are chinese ones..
Does anyone know where to find this?
thanks.

what do you mean by 1913?

could you help me a bit more?

Try this link
http://cornucopia.sourceforge.net/
Works no problem on the A1200, particularly once you get used to the A1200 UI, which allows copy & paste directly into the dictionary interface
Try this:

download file:
English_English_Explanation_Dictionary_115K.zip

Cornucopia worked great once I got it to the phone. Thanks!
In order to get the zipped file to phone. I had unzipped to folder but the unzipped files didn't show there when I used the Moto software but when I unzipped again and asked to show files. There it was again and in this window I could drag and drop to phone. Then click and hold on phone to get install option.
The other source forge dictionary I could never get. And also the old 1913 dictionary never worked for me in PC emulator which works great for the CEL - Chinese English dictionary so I didn't move it to phone since it didn't work on PC. I assume there is way to deinstall on phone? Haven't tried that yet.
i am puzzled,i got the cornucopia.jar file on my ming, pressed on the name and selected install, but i get a
instalation failed
package invalid
message,what's that and why?
sorry forget that last post,i got it to work now, wonderfull stuff
wow..
thanks for all the info.
I tried both of them and liked the one chiennk has posted.
It looks more like a real dictionary with pronounciation and stuff.
However, with this one I think there is a problem with some words.
For example, I tried "home" to see how it displays the translation and the application just closed.
I tried several times and everytime I input "home" or "dog", I'm exited from the application.
Also, the width is not displayed fully.
One or two letters are hidden behind the scroll-bar.
Well, since I have lots of memory left, I'll keep both dic's installed until I can find a better one.
People, please post if you find a good engl-engl dictionary.
BTW, I'm also looking for a Korean-English (and vice versa) dictionary as well but since there aren't many Korean users, I doubt that someone would have one tho.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Problem with "home" solved by enabling incremental search but "dog" still turns the application off. Also, "for" is not working as well. Since I know these words well, I did not find it too irritating yet.
Width problem can be helped a bit by setting fonts small.
