Wink Really Missing my A1200 and motorola fans

When all of the world is developing on android and io5, there was a time when ezx was really rocking MONOVista LINUX developed by our great Motorola.

Now i own a Motorola defy as most of the developments and developers are using xda...i am really missing this website....in fact this website and its users with some great community support...great sticky support and detailed guides are only found in this forum

Still when i get some time i really do log in here and check out whats cooking on a1200, various custom mods and other stuffs.

Nooobs this is the best website for you to start with.

    #respect to modders

if i remember then in the A1200 users manual, then in the last section there is some information given about the GNU open project works...and also they have mention that source codes are available on request...did you tried.

what would you say a party with a lolipop ???

that is the exact condition of this Opensource project of Motorola many people request Motorola to release the full source code of MontaVista OS and Linux kernel but they are not at all interested in releasing them

they have released a partial source code of some components which they think can be shared :P

Ok, i might be a bit late. But i too miss this forum. My milestone is in for repairs so i've been using my ZN5, but will use the A1200 as soon as i've copied new music to it and tested out my new battery..that i got with the phone (current goes flat within a day..even if i leave it at home with absolutely no use). MISS U ALL.

actually at the pace Android is evolving we can't catch up with our A1200 since it lacks behind in specs that is needed for Android
suppose if we port Android but I don't think we would be able to use newer versions of Android

but I know EZX is also very good as Android just we lack is devs and support from Motorola

but I still feel good when I see my all Motorola Phones within my hand
