flexi cable problem & fw suggestion

Im using ming for the past 3.5 years. Since last year onwards i'm facing problem with the housing and flexi cable. First I fixed the housing (duplicate). At that time touch screen was not worked properly. Then I dismantled the duplicate housing and removed the glass, including the flexi cable. I fixed the original housing with duplicate glass, along with flexi cable.

It works for me for the past 3 months. Now again problem was repeated. It is not working.

1) Is there any way to avoid the cable damage? since last year this is my 4th experience.

2) My fw is R532H2_G-11.20.08P. Now I wants to upgrade to Parsian firmware V2.0. shall I upgrade to the fw?

3) By using Superman I have copied my data, in the form of backup.gho
After upgrading to the new fw, how to restore the existing data?

to restore your backup just open the backup.gho file with superman application

Thanks Kundan. I dont have the Motorola Tools Cd with me to backup my contacts and messages. Now it is easy for me with the Superman.

well if you like that firmware and features in that then you can try
make sure it is made for your present track firmware or you may brick your phone so read instructions before flashing.

well if you want to flash then you can try Amin's firmware without any problem
