flip speaker voice, flex cable?

Hello All,

I had my flip glass broken last year but phone was still working fine. Went to several places in bangalore to get it repaired but no one seemed to have the flip or rather anything for A1200. I thought i had some alien piece of hardware. So I used it as such for about 1 year.

Then I saw the housing adv in e-bay and bought it for Rs 1000. It is very third grade. but flip glass and speaker are OK. I see here in this forum that people got original housing in Rs 1200.. wonder if i was ripped.

Anyway.. recently my phone has started giving flip speaker problems. This started even before i changed housing. hands free works fine and sometimes speaker also works. It's random.

As ppl suggested, I am suspecting flip flex cable. But visual inspection of it looks OK.

Where can i find this cable in bangalore / India. Can i order it online? If anyone has it, i can pay for the shipment charges.

I love my phone and want to use it for few more years. I am afraid to ask for Motorola Spare parts. First of all no one is interested in mobile spares and then its motorola.. quite niche.

First option would be to go to service centre if you trust them and can afford their high charges

secondly you can try at local mobile repair shops if you can get it from there then you got lucky try to get flex cable of LT brand they are good I once purchased and repaired mine

next you can buy from online shopping site like Ebay
while I am too thinking of replacing my housing as my flip is also broken and housing has also got worn out so I will soon buy one while you can get try @ ebay
