Unhappy Time details lost on reinserting battery

When I remove the re-insert the battery in the mobile then my A1200 mobile looses the date & time and resets to 5:35 AM 1Jan 1970.
Also it does not update the date time from my service provider.

Is it normal behavior or something wrong with my mobile settings.

    Thanks
    Mayank

well when I got my A1200 it was having the same problem but when i flashed my firmware from H2 track to C2 track then this problem was solved in A1200 may be you have old version of firmware on your phone because of that it would be happening so .. I said as firmware upgrade solved my problem

One more thing I flashed my phone with generic firmware and my E6 does not has this problem.

The box said "Requires Windows 95, NT, or better", so I installed Linux.
