I want the time NOT to reset itself if the battery is out.
Any firmware that does that would do.
    I currently have Ming a 1200 e with :
    Persian_V2.0_R523C2_G_11.32.25P
    BP: R541_G_11.52.13RB
    PFlex: GSZMINGERTRU01F
The box said "Requires Windows 95, NT, or better", so I installed Linux.

    Ok, Thanks for the reply.
@chetan_2002_2003 I'll try and do that. Even when the phone was new, it had this problem, so i'm not so sure about the battery.

Here is a way to preserve time & date details even after removing battery, no flashing required. And in many cases even after flashing same problem continues. Before removing battery follow this simply procedure to preserve date & time details. This is applicable for A1200/A1600 users. Hold the power down/end key for few seconds (Which you usually do) As soon as the M log appears close the flip & remove the battery. You should remove battery before phones shuts down.
    Phone:
    Milestone XT720
    Firmware: STR_U2_01.1E.0

    MotoMing² A1600
    Firmware: MotoSpeed_RSP_03R

E6 users can try by locking phone from side lock mechanical button & then remove battery. But I am not sure.

sorry bro if you are facing problem with my firmware as till date I have not found any type of BUGS you are facing in firmware....

yes it might be possible that the time problem is altering the message receive timing so it may get messed up in list as messages are sorted in descending order of time received so if time mess ups the list will also mess up

I don't know how to solve this time problem as I never faced it ...

as I have seen A1200 board it has a small battery which could be similar to e6 (I have not yet dissembled my e6 so I have not seen ) so you may try changing that battery if possible not sure that will solve time problem

ask anyone who knows how to solve this time reset BUG
