Do you have access to your sim where are your contacts or you can access to the memory card using the software??
have you already updated the software to the last version?? Sometimes it's too neccesary for some phones and actions.

If you have already the last version, first try to check in phone's config that you get USB Mod like "Modem", conect your phone to the laptop, open motorola phone tools and wait to the program detects your phone, if it's not possible, a small window will be showed, that's the wizzard to recognize the phone, select the type of connection and click next, wait just seconds and will show the result. Only if the phone can't be detected you can't access to anything, so that's the first question because if you can, so probably the software must be reinstalled.

There is an other possibility but it's rare, check the configuration over the software in the sms options, it's rare because by default it's already done, if you have change something about it probably can make some problem.

It does not make any sense that what are you asking .......

I think you are asking about sync messages from phone to laptop....

for this you must choose a method to connect your phone to the laptop that can be USB or BLUETOOTH

BEFORE DOING ANYTHING MAKE SURE YOU HAVE LATEST VERSION OF MOTOROLA PHONE TOOLA AND MOTOROLA USB DRIVER

NOTE : IF YOU WANT TO GET LATEST VERSION PLEASE SEARCH THE FORUM TO GET IT.

I preffer USB as it gives access to many more features than bluetooth connectivity

    First for bluetooth

    * Start bluetooth on PC and MOBILE and make them discoverable
    * Now start motorola phone tools and select default profile now select bluetooth as connecting method. select the phone model and then exchange pins to verify security and follow instructions. after connected go to message section and sync your messages. or do whatever you want.

    FOR USB CONNECTION

    * Install latest version of Motorola USB DRIVER and Motorola phone tools.
    * Switch phone to modem mode.
    * Start motorola phone tools select the default profile and select usb connection as connection type and then connect your phone (you will see drivers are getting installed) after installation of drivers your phone will get connected and you can now sync your messages and do whatever you want...

Hope this is helpful in solving your peoblem
