    Default A1200 Invalid Charger

    I have have had my A1200 it suddenly stopped charging. When i plug it in after couple of minutes displays the power on animation and says Battery Charging. A few moments later it says "Invalid Charger..." and powers off. The problem is that it I use the original charger and every other charger i could find. It used to work fine with any charger now none of them work.

    I looked around the forum but i couldn't find anything about this so any help would be appreciated.

    @Russellah

    First of all welcome to motorolafans.com

    now about your problem
    well I too never had such problems like INVALID CHARGER as I have seen INVALID BATTERY

    I think there must be some firmware issues so I would ask you to go for flashing a good firmware or go for firmware upgrade this could help you getting rid of this charging problem

    I am not 100 % sure that it will solve your problem but there is a chance that it can solve your problem

    NOTE : Before doing anything to your phone Please read each and every guide related to that thing on our forums and please read stickies carefully.....

    I hope you will soon get this problem solved

    Thank you for the quick reply and the welcoming.
    I thought about flashing it but i ran into some issues. Every guide i read says the first thing to do when flashing is make sure the battery is fully charged. I cant even get the battery to stay charged for 2 minutes. Second I know that in order to changing the firmware you must know the current firmware which i can't seem find without it being charged.

    So i ask if there is some way to change the firmware without charging the phone?

    Hey dude its impossible to change your firmware or flash your phone without charging your phone

    since it requires more battery than in normal mode so try charging using external charger or try another phone to charge your battery

    you have to solve this one time charging problem by yourself so better try finding motorola phone to charge your battery once....or use a external charger....

    hope this helps you
