I'm trying to understand what you're saying.. but I'm not sure! You have a firmware that fully supports chinese right now but you want to flash to another just because the one you have is tri-band and NOT quad-band? If this is the case, then I'd suggest you take a look here --> Alpha's Quadband & EDGE Script. You can tweak your phone (actually your firmware) so that it supports both EDGE and Quad-band. As far as I know, it works on A1200.

thanks for the reply (finally someone..)
what i meant was that my phone is a quad-band A1200e with R541 firmware (brazilian market, no chinese option in the phone). but from the sticky threads, all the available R541 firmwares (A1200e tracks) with chinese language options are all for tri-band A1200e either north american or asian market.
So i wonder if i flash my phone with one of those tri-band chinese A1200e tracks will it brick it (quad-band to tri-band, and brazilian market build to a asian market build)??

actually which does this R541L7_G_11.00.16R firmware belongs to? A1200e track or A1200 international track since it contains portuguese?
