I bought a new housing for my A1200 and attempted to swap it over. I accidentally broke the flex cable to the headphone piece, but i went ahead and ordered a new one.

I tried assembling everything without the broken flipcover. The screen and buttons are working, but it is not responding to my touch. Would this be due to the flip cover not being connected or did i just break my A1200?

if the screen is working but not responding to touch, you may have a loose flex connector BETWEEN the two boards. check fit and re-post
