| How to modify apps?? I was just wondering how do I go about modifying apps. I would like to take a look inside of qeiLock, and see how that works. Cause I would like to make it so when I hold the slide button, it changes the button picture. I am new to the whole mod. world and would like to write apps one day, and I think modding existing apps would give me a better understanding on how things works.
I am looking into Cygwin and ezx crosstool, am I looking in the right direction? But it seems like ezx crosstool is more for modding/making fw and themes, and I am still really confuse with what Cygwin does. Since EZX phones are Linux, you need to use Linux tools to compile programs. Cygwin is Linux that runs on top of Microsoft windows OS so you can use Linux tools if you don't have a Linux machine. | So, do you have any tips on how and where should I start looking?? I thought this was going to be easy...look at the code of the program, change a few lines, run the program on the phone...Right now I'm trying to get to see what the codes are like in qeiLock, how do I do that?? As far as getting the source code, I have had no luck getting source for the one app I wanted to modify(pixcall) User Information Current Phone: A1200r Firmware: 32P-OENT "XP Windows" monsterpack Location: Portland, OR | | | | MotoFans MODR

| Do I need to get the source code to modify the program? It seems like I'm in the same boat as you, trying to modify an existing program. I guess there is no way to extract the program code through the program itself?
