What exactly do they mean?

Does it just mean that the message went out to the recipient?

Or does it mean they reiceved it and opened it.?

(cuz I think I get 2 types... not sure.)

And mainly...

HOW DO YOU STOP THEM...???

I unchecked "Allow delivery reports" on my A1200...
but apparently it did nothing.

I did a search here (nodramachicks)...
and so far haven't found any answers.

Though that turns Relivery Reports ON... and I want them OFF... will still check that out and see if I can't do it in reverse somehow.

As far as I can tell... that whole linked post is about turning the Delivery Reports ON.

I can't find a section for sms delivery report for every messages automatically, i must choose "delivery report" when i writing messages.Is there a solution for this?

He wants them to be ON automatically... No...?

And the one post with the instructions for doing it thru MPT...
is to turn them ON... NO...?

Turning on Delivery Report
1. Connect phone to PC via USB-Lan
2. Go to /ezx_user/download/appwrite/setup/ezx_sms.cfg
3. In section [GROUP_MSGCTR_SMS] add SMS_DELIVERY_REPORT_ENABLED_FLAG = 1
4. Save file.

Soooo... lemme get this straight...

To turn them OFF...
I gotta do doze steps above... but just change the "1" in ....

"SMS_DELIVERY_REPORT_ENABLED_FLAG = 1"

... to a "0" ...?

the post IS about turning delivery report ON, you haveta ADD the line to enable delivery report....if you already HAVE it, just DELETE the line and you should be fine.

Ohhh... Nope.
I ain't had a "problem" yet with my Ming that would warant utilizing an RPCD.
That's why I'm reading, lookin garound, asking a lot of questions, and making sure I understand stuff BEFORE attempting to screw it up.

Cuz I have used the 'ol RPCD on TONS of stuff in da past!

My phone is too new for me to use that last resort so early on in my MotoMining career.

Waitin' for my grandaughter to get off da laptop which has all my Mingstuff and MPT. Gonna give it a whirl later when she's in bed and I can reconfiscate said laptop.

OK... so I had a few minutes to experiment and try doing
those changes with MPT...

But I have no idea how to do it!
