For one you get a full one year USA warranty with them, so they have you covered unlike other ebay seller and other online stores. And for their Motorola phones, most of them come pre-modded with select features such as EDGE enabled, Quadband Enabled (E6), etc. They are also kind enough to put internet and mms settings for you at your request. And none of these mods will effect your warranty with them. If you ever run into hardware issues contact them and i am sure they will help you.

Just for the warranty alone their prices are worth it imo. Formerly known as HKS-Mobile.com, they are good friends of ours here at motofans. They offer very low prices, and they have very fast shipping, they even have their own mini forum section here at motofans if you browse through the forum index of our site. Keep in mind that unlike aria, they only sell stock phones. And please consult them for their full policy on warranties.

Overall these two sellers are the best there is, and even though the two sellers sell the same product they both have different demographics and goals. One offers phones pre-modded while the other purely stock. So depending on your skill level and needs i have given you the top two choices.

Hi all,

First post here. I just wanted to say I just purchased a Sony Ericsson k660i from Smart-Mobile-Gadgets. I found out about them from these forums as I was originally thinking about an a1200r. I know, I know the k660i and a1200r are apples and oranges but I decided to stick with my favorite form factor, the candy bar. Anyway, I paid for the phone 2 a.m. Wednesday morning and received it 9 a.m. Friday morning (today). And it was shipped from China. Needless to say I am more than pleased with Smart-Mobile-Gadgets. I give them my full endorsement for anyone that cares. They also had the lowest price I could find anywhere, unless you count Ebay. I could have gotten one there for about $5 less and risked all the headaches that are associated with on-line auctions. Not to mention I definitely would not have received the phone as quickly.

After some adventureus searches along obscure Chinese sellers I decided to order at SMG today (thanks to this forum!).
There were some issues checking out with the Google checkout at last I received confirmation from Google the order is placed. I had to change the shipping adress to another than the one on my credit card
Can't hardly wait to open my package, hopefully somewhere next week!

I feel need to write warning post for all people from "Eastern Europe" and other countries like mine.Btw I am from Serbia.

Well , I purchased my Ming from SMG when I read on this thread that they are secure and low price store. I paid phone(225$),shipping to Europe(33$) and 2 years warranty(25$).
First I have problem with Google account, they wanted from me extra assurance like scans of ID document and some house bill?! Ok, I send them and they unblock my account.
After purchase SMG send me confirmation mail with wrong Shipping country?! Czechoslovakia instead of Serbia?!
I think that guy/people from SMG don`t know much about world countries because btw Czechoslovakia does not exist(almost 15 years) same as Serbia and Montenegro but this is his problem...
After my mail he/they correct delivering country to Serbia but now he wants more money for shipping. Google send me mail with this note:
"Message from Smart-mobile-gadgets :
total shipping to your address 59$ the 32$ u paid this for western Europe .. eastern europe very expensive
Payment for:
shipping difference to eastern europe" ?!

Well, I don`t see on SMG ordering page that I can choose between "Eastern" and "Western" Europe!!! Shipping to Europe is already the most expensive but 59$ for shipping...?!
When I wrote him/them that I think that they should cover that extra costs because this is now their problem(I already paid them everything) he answered me after few days that they used my warranty money for that?! OMG, is this legal? I think it is not! After that I get mail from Google with tracking link from FedEx.
After few days days my package came to Serbia airport custom and now I have one more problem. My country is not still in EU and we have custom law which says that everything above 20 eur must clear the customs. Now I have to pay firm who is working on custom to finish that for me. As I hear, that can cost me extra 50-100 eur?!
And now my Ming cost me about almost 250-300 eur(without warranty) instead 180 eur!!! I could avoid custom if they sent me package with ordinary post but I am not sure is it safe because of possible damages and how long would I wait for package?

I have few days to decide what to do...To pay custom(I am waiting to hear today how much will cost me) or to send back package? In that case I will get my money back-am I right?!
For how long do I need to wait to get my money back?

I don`t know what to say,I am very disappointed with all!
SMG hmmmm... I think that they have very bad communication with customers(barely few words in answer after few days etc.)

I hope that my post can help other possible customers...

Also on a note, our former friends at SMG no longer work there. And they are under new management. But for now i will continue to give them praise until they prove otherwise.

I was looking for a cheap A1200 to do some hardware hacking. I want an A1200R so I figured I would look for a quad band phone to avoid getting an "E". Aria_cellular is selling an Edge quad band A1200. I thought Edge or "E" phones were tri band. How can I be sure to get an "R" phone? Is Aria blowing smoke?

Many people put thier comment regarding ebay. they claim that ebay provide product at less cost but products doesn't lost long. they failed to perform successsfully very soon. what is your opinion? is it right or rumours.

just depends on the seller really, i bought MY Ming from an ebay vendor 2 1/2 years ago and have NEVER had any problem with it. it's been the BEST phone i've EVER had (and i've had A BUNCH LOL)

it's like anything else, do your homework, ask questions and try to make the best choice possible (a good tip is to make SURE that the seller has a GOOD return policy and feedback in case things arent as advertised...also make sure you THUROUGHLY understand all of the sellers term). Remember, CHEAPER isn't always BETTER...if the deal seems to good to be true it probably IS!!

They are completely legit, i am close friends with them and i would not recommend them to our members if i knew they were not honest. You can trust them.
