This is something that has kinda bugged me. WHY are there posts from people who are griping about their phone? Isn't this site dedicated to people who happen to be very pleased with ownership of their ming, and wanna mod and tweak it to their hearts content? I mean....if you're not happy with what the phone can't do then sell it or whatever, but we really don't wanna see your post about it. Nor do we, or at least I, wanna hear about how some other phone is better. I hope I speak for the majority when I say we bought this phone because we did compare it to others and simply chose what is the better phone. Yes I know this is long gripe and I kinda apologize (not really). I'm just saying that when I was searching for a phone I did compare and I still chose my ming, which I've had for about a month now, and I still think I made the best choice. It's a great phone for it's price and you can't beat it on looks( I mean look at it). Basically my point is..... IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR PHONE SELL IT TO SOMEONE WHO WILL APPRECIATE IT and fade into the background.... just don't post about it; afterall, this is "motorola fans" not I'm b***hing about my motorola" .com. Just a thought. Oh and thanks to all the great people who's posts helped me get my phone the way i wanted it.... KUDOS!!!! sexyr out.

I disagree - I've learned a great deal from the users who were complaining or in the case of the evaluation, comparing the Ming to other technologies. I don't have the time to research every day. It's great for me that other people are doing that homework and helping me understand what's out there and how it stacks up. If people don't like the Ming, I'd rather know why, rather than pretend they don't exist.

A lot of complaints are due to a lack of knowledge, not deficiencies in the Ming. But sometimes the complaints are valid and I think Indiacam's analysis was excellent and obviously came from someone with real experience and to me that's valuable.

I DO think that a lot of complaints are trivial - mine's bigger than yours, etc., but sometimes they are valid and therefore useful to know about.

But I also think that for the most part people are "spoiled" rotten when it comes to technology. We are so used to having these amazing devices doing such amazing things that we lose sight of the fact that none of this even existed 20 years ago. It's so common now that you can afford to "complain" that your connection to the internet isn't fast enough for you! Give me a break! The fact that there IS an internet, that you CAN connect at all, is a fu@*ing miraculous marvel! So show a little gratitude to the millions of people who made that happen for you instead of acting like a spoiled child when your cellphone doesn't do your laundry! Just my two cents.

I wasn't talking about the valid "I need help" complaints...just the frivilous "grass is greener" on the other side kind.

"we don't wanna see ur posts" by whom were u appointed 2 speak on my behalf or that of others here(unless i've missed something). u ARE however entitled to YOUR opinion as evidenced by ur post drawing this response....moving on, since u r now my personal representative, there are a few things that i feel need addressing or that just piss me off & i expect u 2 get in touch with the responsible parties, companies and or government agencies..........get my point?

If everyone liked their phones there wouldn't be need for a message board. We here post things we don't like to see if there is a way to revert that. If there weren't problems, we wouldn't need solutions.

If every post here was about how good Ming is, I would be out of here in no time. If you like your phone, go write a blog about it. Because everyone here already has or at least knows the phone, so what's the point?

If you think your phone is perfect, you either have very low expectations or you are such a big fan of the phone that you just ignore its flaws.
