Post PROJECT: Porting EzxEmu (SNES + GENESIS) to A1200.

Really... I mean... come on...

How many ppl here wouldn't like to play SNES and Genesis games on our Ming ?

I bought this phone about a year ago and i'm still waiting for this day to come...

The thing is... Oopsware realised many awesome emulators for E680i, some of them are ported to A1200 too like EzxFba and the Gpsp... and these emulators can run games a lot heavier than EzxEmu ones... I'm pretty sure that Ming has hardware enough to run snes and genesis games smoothly.
So... question is... Is really Oopsware the only one in the world who could do that ?

I know nothing about programming and developing stuff, but well... Altough this doesn't look something easy to do, maybe it's not so hard either... And I've seen so many awesome proggies comming out for Ming... We've got many talented developers here.

So... what's in our way ? Why isn't anyone in the mood to make it happen ?

Maybe not porting, maybe start a new one from zero...

I know that sucks when you really work hard to make something that ppl won't pay for it and most of them don't even say "thank you". But i bet I'm not the only one that is looking foward for this. And i bet that the one who make this happen will be worshiped for the rest of his life...

Am I way too wrong ? :/

I'm sorry... I'm just really begging now :/

Thank you for your attention.

Why would you want to do that? Chrono Trigger is just the best game ever...

I had a SNES emulator on my N-Gage, but the low resolution screen made playing it nearly impossible.

Ming has the same resolution as SNES, I would just be worried about the lack of buttons.

well lets see, we can have at very least 2 soft buttons + volume up and volume down (AB XY buttons) then there is the call and hang up button (L R buttons) the real button as start and joystick button as select haha more than good for a rpg. Sure i wont be playing street fighter or mario world....cuz its impossible to play such games with ming joystick but that i already dont play on gpsp :P
