HARD RESET MOTOMING A1200

HI GUYS. I AM IN REAL TROUBLE. I AM FACING CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM. WHENEVER I CONNECT MY PHONE TO PC, EITHER IN MASS STORAGE MODE OR IN MODEM MODE, IT GETS CONNECTED BUT AFTER SOME TIME IT AUTOMATICALLY DISCONNECTS IN BOTH MODES. A POP UP SAYS THAT THE USB DEVICE HAS MALFUNCTIONED. NOTE THAT I HAVE NEVER FLASHED MY PHONE EVER.

CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME HOW TO HARD RESET THE PHONE. NOT THE MASTER RESET BUILT INSIDE THE PHONE

PLEASE HELP!!!

have you already installed the motorolausb driver?

it sounds like a driver trouble, not the phone

no its not driver problem. i have tried connecting my phone to 4 pc s but same problem. it does not matter whether i install motorola usb driver or not , mass storage mode will work on pc s without driver too. but n e way i have all drivers installed.

have you tried using another usb cable ?

yes i have tried two more cables. i am 100% sure that theres a problem in the mobile itself.
to add more info:
when i try to master reset, it does completes but a warning window appears that says " the memory is almost full, try deleting some data first". but theres no data in the phone! i have also formatted my sd card.

if its under warranty take it for service
if not try flashing the FW
