Default R541_G_11.50.29PBPFI

Hello there, I just got an A1200 with this firmware version.

It seems to be a little too new to be in the sticky topic - can anyone make a recommendation on what upgrade path I should take?

This version locks up several times a day, I want to try a different version.

Thanks

Thats the EDGE version, does it have equalisers in real player? You can upgrade to 24p/30p/01(which is also EDGE, but TriBand)

No equaliser in Real Player, as far as I can tell.

More questions:

1) Is firmware upgrade the best approach to dealing with lockups?

2) Which band would I lose if I switch? Currently it claims to be "quad band"

3) Is there any way to go back to the current firmware if something goes wrong? I haven't seen this one as a download option anywhere yet.

Thanks,
Mark

ok so this is what happened to me.... i bought my cell here in honduras, i dun it has the same fw that ur phone has its also triband so i got afraid of flashing it since there is no info bout this fw, but hey i just said WTF and i upgraded to .08p the phone never got the fw in RSD to PASS it always fail at 95%, so i tried another version and still 95% FAIL, but actually the flashing process is ALWAYS succesful even though the RSD says it failed i just took the batt out and restarted the phone and everything works correctly but when u chek the fw it says R541_G_11.50.29PB and i have right now the hybrid 30p and the pc says its different but everything works correctly, i did it with rsd 3.6, i hope this has been useful to u.
