Default Started the flash process

So I bought this slick little phone 3 months ago from ebay. I know I shouldnt have bought it from there now... but at the time I didnt know. It didnt always get reception so I took it to a local cell phone shop, and he told me he bought the same phone and couldnt get it to work. So I put it away and forgot all about it. I heard about this site yesterday and my hopes were back.

So I read the instructions in the firmware sticky. Went through all the steps and flashed to FW R532_G_11.00.44P and now the phone is doing some weird things. It wont power on, it wont go into mbm mode and when I plug it in to recharge it, the moto logo just flashes. I have tried several times to remove the battery and try again. And on one ocassion, I actually was able to see the battery meter (with the red line through it) flashing again. So I left it alone for a while came back and the moto logo was flashing again????

I should say that the batery meter had a red line through it when I started the flash process, but I let it charge (I couldnt actually see a charge, but the battery meter-with the red line through it-was flashing) so I assumed it was charging. Now Im not convinced that it was.

If I need an external charger, can someone point me to one.

If I need to do something else, let me in please.

1. Which A1200 version do you have? Generic, A1200R, A1200I or A1200E

2. You never said what firmware you were on BEFORE you flashed FW R532_G_11.00.44P.

3. Also, out of all the firmwares, why did you choose that one?

4. Should have let the phone charge until it said "Charging complete."

5. The A1200 uses the BT50 battery. The Motorola external chargers are model #'s SJ0229A, SYN1520 or SYN1489A.

I don't know any of these sellers but I found a couple potential places for an external charger for you:

Motorola Battery Charger - Original (OEM) SJ0229A

MOTOROLA OEM ORIGINAL BATTERY CHARGER SJ0229A - eBay (item 220253301850 end time Sep-01-08 17:16:06 PDT)

I have the generic A1200.

Im not sure which FW I was running before. That is because I had the red line through the battery meter, and I couldnt access the key pad to see wich version I was running.

I chose that version of FW because it was the earliest version in the H2 series.

And I let the battery charge for 2-3 hours before I started the flash process. BUt because of the red line......... I figured it was charged as much as it was going to be charged. If I couldnt get a chance to install new FW, its probably bricked anyway so....... anyway, I dont think its done, I just need to charge the battery I think. I have a friend with the same phone, I will see if the battery works in his.
