I port from A1600 to A1200, application + libraries and works greats.
I am not a firmware expert as AMIN, so i have problems in the compilation process, but it is totally possible.

RSA Protection remover: http://www.hackthev3i.com/modificati...orola_v3i.html

The libraries are all new, so maybe, it is motomagx version instead of EZX. According to Motorola internal engineers, in a few months they will release plenty of tools for developers (Not for EZX, just for motomagx).

@tmp_do
You will find it's CGg43 much bigger that Ming's
This is my algorithm:
1- cut out A1600's unnecessary parts(like gps, ...) to fit it to A1200 CG43 size.
2- copy all of that to an a1200 cg43 and compile it!

I also used it's CG41.
The problem is that themes comes in CG33 in a1600, so it wont detect themes and skin, I think we gotta re map, to fix it.

Hey People,

We appreciate all the efforts that you guys doing to keep our Ming A1200 a competitive phone. I do not want to get rid of it. I love it.

P.S. Question. I have never had luck with the Exchange Sync syncing our corporate emails. I would appreciate any comments.

I test that you said but there are some problems:

1) Some new libs files are too heavy.
2) New Opera version is more bigger than older (in KB).
3) New Photo Editor version is more bigger than older (in KB).
4) Some applications are not compatible (for example, "am" allows you to enable/disable GPS and other stuff; "phone" doesn't recognize the charger as valid).

I still researching...

There is some problem with the camera, because a1600 has an auto-focus on it. I think we can't use the "updated" camera program on a1200.

I'm still testing some applications to improve my 32p (new version of picsel viever work well without touching any library). Also I tested new "addressbook" and seems to work well (i don't realized a deep testing). I will test every application and library.

Bye bye...

I made it too, but there are some things that doesn't fit with a1200. For example, if you see the "status device" you will see GPS status and other stuff...

This requieres a lot of time for testing....
