Here's a write up on this excellent Firmware. I found this on motofan.ru . I've had it on my phone for about two weeks now and it's pretty good.

Summary
• Quad-Band - Yes
• Edge - enabled by default
• 4 USB modes: Modem, Mass Storage, USB net, Media Sync
• Battery Life - Average (1-1.5 days)
• Speed - Average
• Camera Quality - OK
• Camera Photo Autosave - Yes (Flip open and closed.)
• Voice Response accuracy - Decent. (From American viewpoint)
• Volume - Needs volume fix.
• Internet Connectivity speed - Edge!
• All 4 shortcuts changeable on home screen - Yes
• Languages - English and Russian
• Screen 3 - No
• Video - up to 352*288
• Run multiple java apps at same time - Yes
• Can install MPKG, Superman, etc.

Disadvantages:
• Realplayer - no equalizer
• Volume Fix needs to be applied.

do a little write up on it and i'll include it...there seem to be 5 or 6 versions of 14R
