Good question!

I know no flashing program on linux.
Flash kernel image - OpenEZX
But nothing to flash a *.sbf or *.shx file.
Anyone else can help?
(please no wine or dualboot options)

hi swifty, I have found this thread: Using your SLVR in Linux [Guide] - ModMyMoto - Software Modding Forums and Updates for Motorola Phones that talks about a flasher, but when I put my phone in mbm mode I'm not able to find the usb device associated to the phone, nor /dev/ttyACM0 or /dev/ttyUSB0 is there

I'm stuck for now

FlashingEZX - Moto4Lin
is for the EZX mobiles
Currently it's possible to flash only EZX part of phone. Flashing LTE currently is not implemented.

your flasher is for V3 and other P2K phones
Flashing - Moto4Lin

btw.
thanks for pointing me to the past

all too easy! you just need mtdtools and kernel with changed flash_rw_region. just copy new smg to mmc, boot with new kernel, do flas_unlock /dev/mtdX and flashcp your smg to unlocked mtd device! it so easy!
and with WiteMING and my new kernel you can do it izkaropki
