Just wanted to share a review for bint's 24xp debranded firmware
IT'S GREAT.
On almost all the other firmware versions I have experienced problems like bad VR recognition, bad battery life, poor compatibility, pros and cons to each firmware.
The firmware bring the best of all firmware. 24P had the best VR of all of them. Luckily Bint's brings this feature along. 30P brings multiple java capabilities and so does Bint's. Brings the night version for camera, Superman App and finally it has GREAT battery life. I have had it on for about 1 day and a half and its down to about 2 bars.
A fault is poor volume (as if it glitches and causes the volume to be low even at highest settings). The fix for this is the VolumeUp App. Simply activate and it keeps the phone from going low. If you restart then reactivate this App.
Another can be for people trying to use Opera Mini Beta 4. It won't recognize the font or wont work. Install ApplyFont App and pick a .ttf file for the font (these can be found on the net almost anywhere for free).
Another fix you will need is the EDGE Radiocomm script and the VM+Network Time fix. Apply these through Radiocomm and you should have EDGE internet capabilities, stop the phone from randomly giving you voicemail alerts and get the network time option on your phone.
With all these fixes I have found my A1200 to be the best I could probably have. Also, with this firmware (and not the others for some reason) my Palm TX was able to connect to my phone via BT and now I can use the internet from my Palm TX using the phone. Just perfect, perfect, perfect. Thank you whoever developed this firmware and I recommend it to anyone on the C2 track.
